The Ford Motor Company is currently facing a class action lawsuit which names their 2015-2019 Ford F-Series trucks. In addition to other claims, the plaintiff alleges that the trucks have a design defect which causes the door latches to malfunction. The Ford Motor Company has denied all allegations of wrongdoing named in the lawsuit, including that the named vehicles have a latch malfunction. Despite Ford’s assertion, the company has agreed to settle the lawsuit, providing benefits to any buyer, leasee, or operator.
