Owners of the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback should be aware of a recent recall due to a faulty transmission component. Toyota recalled roughly 3,400 vehicles because of this fault and noted that if parts fail while the car is moving, it may cause the vehicle to lose power altogether. It is important to note that only Corolla Hatchbacks that have a continuously variable transmission (CVT) are part of this recall. Hatchbacks with manual transmissions and the Corolla sedan are not included in this recall.
If drivers are traveling at high speeds when the transmission part fails, it greatly increases the chances of an accident.
